Ⅵ.Instructions
1. Before installing the valve, it is to check the model, bore
size, technical parameters, etc. according to site conditions. A
careful read of product catalogue and instructions is recommended.
2. In order to install and remove butterfly valve conveniently, the
use of a connecting telescopic pipe is recommended during erection,
which is an option of supply with valve at client’s request.

3. Before installation of valve, please clean the valve seal and
make sure there is no dirt and dust on it. It is more critical to
do so if a long preservation is contemplated.
4. At handling or at the beginning of erection, the valve must be
slightly opened (about 5°) and maintain in this position so as to
prevent disc and sealing face from damage.
5. After valve is installed onto a pipeline, when flange bolts are
not fully tightened, please open the valve manually up to a full
open position. Check the disc to make sure if it moves freely in
the pipeline. It is to further align the valve diameter and the
pipe center, before completely tightening the bolts.
